Soccer City stadium will hold the opening match, four more first-round matches, one second-round match, one quarter-final, and the finals for Soccer World Cup 2010.

For the World Cup, Johannesburg can be a base for games in Johannesburg, Pretoria/Tshwane and Rustenburg – all are within reasonable driving distance.
