Location: Nelson Mandela Bay, Eastern CapeNelson Mandela Bay Stadium was newly built =for World Cup Soccer 2010 and overlooks the North End Bay. This is the first time a world-class football stadium has been built in the Eastern Cape Province dedicated solely to football. Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium has a seating capacity of 48,000 and will host the 3rd place and one of the quarter final soccer matches for South Africa 2010.
The stadium is in North End, which is very conveniently situated just to the north of the city center and close to major motorways.
For World Cup games in Nelson Mandela Bay/Port Elizabeth, it is advisable to stay in the Nelson Mandela Bay/Port Elizabeth area. It is not close enough to drive from any other soccer cities for games
