Mbombela Stadium
Location: Nelspruit, MpumalangaMbombela Stadium is a new 46,000-seat stadium that was recently built for World Cup 2010 and takes its name from the local municipality, which incorporates the city of Nelspruit.
It is the first soccer stadium built in the city of Nelpruit and is located 12 km from Kruger-Mpumalanga Airport, making it possible for visitors of South Africa to get to World Cup accommodation located in other cities. Mbombela stadium is also in close perimeter of Kruger National Park and other various game parks, allowing visitors of the area to enjoy the city’s wildlife.
For World Cup games in Nelspruit, it is advisable to stay in the Nelspruit area as It is not close enough to drive from any other soccer cities for games.
