I am in the beautifull coastal city of Port Elizabeth in South Africa
I run a small business from home mostly selling Telecoms products
I am married to Denise for 25years now, with three kids of which the last one just finished school. My wife is an accountant.We are both 46 years old.We both love entertaining although the catering is mostly my baby.I love food and would like to learn a lot from my guests about there county and dishes.
We live about 7 mins away from our lovely new soccer stadium.

I enjoy Model car racing and are taking part in club racing. My wife are involved in local theater. We have both been involved in major charity projects for some years through Round Table. We have three kids of which to are both in the Professional world and the youngest still studying. We love animals and have two dogs, a cat. a gorgeous African Grey Parrot and two reptiles.

All in all i would describe us as a typical middle class SA family

it really is great traditional real sa hospitality,,,yr really made to feel welcome, comfortable,and are taken care off..Plus port elizabeth is a great place to go and stay in!!

I stayed 2 days at this place during the worldcup. I felt like being at home for these 2 days, with Hannes helping to get to the stadium and getting to know the people of South Africe within this short time. thanks Hannes. Will visit again with my family.

A safe place to sleep and eat. Six single beds in large room with shower and toilet, coffee and tea. Breakfast and supper can be arranged. Braai facilities available. Close to soccer stadium on bus route.No credit card facilities, but many autobanks nearby.Bedding available on request.

I stayed with Hannes during the 2010 World Cup and Hannes was a fantastic and welcoming host. I really recommend the backpackers accommodation as a place to stay whilst in Port Elizabeth as it is comfortable and in Hannes you will have a host that whilst making you feel at home also adds a great deal to your holiday. Hannes as our host had a large part to play in the good time I had in Port Elizabeth and the friends I made when I was there as he created a good atmosphere for those staying with him to mingle with eachother and get to know eachother.
