As a personal tailor cuts the dress to his customer sizes so we prepare the holiday to our traveler needs and wishes. This is our main policy and of course also the inside design of the penthouse was personalized with a modern, comfortable, practical and charming twist to fit all spaces at its best.
Our local experience and knowledge will ensure great appreciation and comments by the guests, thanks to all recommendations we may give on the spot.
Our enthusiasm and love to the hosting is due to personal and direct experiences in traveling during business trips world-wide. Our comment sense to respect and enjoy different cultures makes our job even more effective. Tourists, students, business-man and anybody that is planning to move for long-term period in town will be guided and looked after, so that Barcelona will be there best stay ever.

My husband and I stayed in two of Arian’s apartments while on Honeymoon traveling around Europe. I can honestly say that Arain made our holiday in Barcelona truly fantastic. He was a great host! He is so lovely, friendly and accommodating! Upon arrival he greeted us with cava, some snacks and friendly conversation. He also helped carry my over-sized and heavy luggage up to the penthouse, which deserves a huge thank you! We decided to stay in his apartments based largely on the glowing reviews he had received from other travelers on I stop over and we were not disappointed. Not only did he take the time to show us around the neighborhood he suggested some great tapas restaurants to eat at and looked after us like family. The apartments were clean, modern and the location was fantastic. When we initially made the booking on I stop over we made a mistake with our travel dates. Arain and his team were really helpful in making sure we were looked after and had nothing to worry about. I would strongly recommend staying at any of Arian's apartments for a great holiday in Barcelona!

DONT HESITATE! GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! My partner and I originally booked another apartment through a different website and unfortunately the owner went missing when we tried to get the apartment. If was a very frustrating situation. Arian saved us and the same night we were able to go to his rental. He even gave us that same night free becuase he felt bad for our situation. The apartment is very clean, cozy, tastefully decorated and has a washer and a nice terrace. The location is quiet and a couple blocks form a metro stop (Tetuan) which is just two metro stops from the Exiample in which the bars of "ambiente" are located. Getting to other parts of the city are easy as well as most attractions are just a few metro stops away. There are several bars, restuarants and supermarkets in the neighborhood. The kitchen sink had a leak, I notified Arian and he came and fixed it immediately. Arian is an awesome host and I highly recommend his apartment. The only downside of the apartment is the long walk up the steps, but everything else, including Arian's great customer service more than compensates for that minor issue. The apartment does not have internet or a phone, but Arian has a cell phone and a wireless stick you can use and you choose the amount of minutes you want to buy. If you don't choose this opttion there are several internet/phone stores or "locutorios" in the neighborhood so you can easily stay connected. He stated that in the future he probably will put internet and a computer in the apartment and maybe even an elevator. If you book with Arian you won't be disappointed. Great apartment and geat host!

Although we only stayed in this apartment for one night, I would have no problem recommending it to anybody traveling to Barcelona. Its a clean modern apartment in a great location. the wifi was fast, the bed was comfortable and the balcony was absolutely fantastic. Arain is a kind and helpful host who helped us in recommending local attractions, transport and restaurants. I will definitely stay at this apartment the next time i am in Barcelona!

We've been received with a warm and personal welcome and emotional support by Arian. Especially because someone stole both of our iPods on our way from the airport to the apartment. The welcome present, a delicious bottle of red wine, soothed our (virtual) wounds once and for all. The Watermelon Barcelona Penthouse is beautiful and the ideal accommodation especially for people, who like to cook for themselves as the kitchen has all the comfort you need. There's plenty of (cabinet) space for two people to put their stuff and to relax on the couch after an adventurous day in the city. There's even a fast WiFi Internet connection for the social networking addict to hook up and keep everyone up-to-date or for researches on restaurants and stuff to do in Barcelona. Unfortunately the weather wasn't as perfect as the host and the housing so we only had the chance to enjoy the great roof terrace one day in the morning. It's a wonderful place to have breakfast or a glass of some tasty local wine. Personally it takes us one to two nights to adapt to a new and unfamiliar bed, especially when the climate is different from where we come from (London/UK), but here this wasn't the case. This place feels like home from the moment you step in and we both have slept like babies every night as the bed is cosy and comfortable. This will definitely not be our last stay at this place and we are looking forward to more great days in Barcelona in the future (sans being robbed and the bead weather ;). Thanks Arian! Joel, my traveling companion, and I had a very nice time in Barcelona. It is a fabulous city and being able to be in an apartment instead of a hotel made it more enjoyable. The apartment is compact--and that needs to be stressed--since the pictures and the article in the Times didn't mention that. Also the terrace was a plus, but it needs to be mentioned that it is shared with a family who lives downstairs and who uses it too. This was not a problem, but again, it should be mentioned. I found Arian, the owner, very helpful and courteous, but when we arrived he requested 200 euros as a security deposit, not unreasonable, but there was no mention of this requirement when I made the reservation or when he called or wrote prior to our arrival. Again, this needs to be made clear from the beginning. We were, of course, happy to oblige; he seemed like an honest fellow and the deposit was returned minus the cleaning fee when we departed. Would I rent again from iStopover? Yes, I would! I like the fact that the money is put in escrow until the clients actually set eyes on the place. If it is as advertised, then, and only then, is the money released to the owner. The only issue I had with Arian is that he asked, mid-stay, to have the apartment available for a 50-euro cleaning. I thought this was an odd request. I have rented apartments in the past for a 10-day stay and the issue of a mid-stay cleaning never came up. I told Arian that I had no objection, but that I intended to pay for only ONE cleaning and that I thought it would be a better idea to have the apartment cleaned AFTER we left and not before.

We stayed at the penthouse on Carrer de Napols and could not have had a better first visit to Barcelona. The apartment is bright, clean, and cozy. The large terrace was a huge bonus for relaxing in the evening or eating breakfast in the morning. But the best part of the stay was Arian! We were on our honeymoon, and Arian and his awesome and equally friendly associate, Mario, surprised us by having a big bottle of champagne and a bowl of goodies waiting for us when we arrived. Arian also met up with us a few days later (and treated us to a drink!) to make sure we were doing okay and had everything we needed. He is truly a great host who loves people and life. The apartment is close to transit stops (though you will want to walk everywhere) and the Sagrada Familia, and it's a 12-minute pleasant walk to the Parc de la Ciutadella. Thanks, Arian and Mario!

wonderful!! Arian was a delight and so very helpful,making our stay in Barcelona as pleasant as possible. The apartment was very clean and with many conveniences of home! The terrace was fun to look out at night, and we could see the city at its best. Having the washer-dryer was a plus. Hope to do business with you again, as our confidence in you is a plus!

Arian is the perfect host. Really. Anything you need, he will try to accommodate. And a genuinely warm and friendly person. Saw his mid-range and luxury apartments. You couldn't ask for anything better. Or more centrally located. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the 'happy penthouse' for 2 weeks. Arian was a thoughtful host. We arrived to find a big basket of fresh fruit and a bottle of Rioja wine waiting for us. The location is perfect...just a short walk to two different metro stops and the wonderful Concepcion market in the very upscale Eixample district. Grocery shopping is very convenient. We are pretty independent people, so didn't need much attention...but Arian was great when we asked about local restaurants and book stores. The terrace was lovely, and we also had a view of the spires of Sagrada Familia. The apartment was very clean, and easy to keep that way. We enjoyed meeting a couple of neighbors in the building, and really felt like native Barcelonans for our stay there.

"Before arriving in Barcelona, I was having problems deciding where to stay. It's always difficult to pick a place when you haven't been to the city. However, after staying at the apartment on Napols for a week and meeting Arian, I can confidently say that this was the best decision I could have made. The location of the apartment is perfect -- close to the metro, shopping, parks and the beach. The neighborhood is relatively quiet and elegant. The apartment is the perfect size and nicely decorated. And Arian, the owner, will definitely do his best to make sure you have a great time in Barcelona. He is very kind and generous and will help you with any problems you may have during your stay. This was the perfect place to stay in what is now one of my favorite cities! "

"Our Barcelona apartment was wonderful. Arian was a fantastic host; he made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is a walk-up (4 flights) but he took our luggage up. The terrace is great, we spent a couple evenings drinking wine outside. The apartment is not large, but it’s well-appointed. It’s just a couple blocks from La Sagrada Familia (amazing) and a few blocks walk away from everything else. We’d definitely recommend this place to friends."

Arian is a great host - and he lives right next door. For us this apartment was perfect since we walked everywhere. We never took metro and only once a taxi. We needed NOT to be in a hotel since we worked quite a bit when in Barcelona - and we also needed to be able to use internet and wash clothes. The apartment was very clean and functional.
