We have a penthouse apartment with 30 sq. meter terrace, offering views of the Sagrada Familia church and Tibidabo in Barcelona. We rent a private room that is connected to the terrace with a double bed, AC, closet and drawer space, whatever you need.
Everything in the apartment is also at your disposal: Fully equipped kitchen, WIFI, flat-screen TV, stereo with speakers on the terrace, washing machine, and AC. There's a complete bathroom with shower and bathtub. The terrace has a hammock, deck chairs, and tables...great for a day of reading or a glass of wine.
Elevator in the building and then one flight of stairs to get to the penthouse.
It is two blocks from the Sagrada Familia church, as well as the blue and purple metro lines, and close to various bus routes.
A little bit about us (who you'd be sharing the apartment with): we are a young couple, I'm American and my boyfriend is English and we want to share our apartment and help you enjoy Barcelona.

We had a great experience at Dan's place. The terrace is fantastic and the room quite nice. Dan was a helpful and very entertaining host.

Dan was an excellent host to my niece and I during our 5-day visit to Barcelona. The room and apartment was very nice and our favorite part was the outdoor terrace with hammock and a view of the Sagrada Familia - we used it as our outdoor living room/lounge! From his place, it is a very short walk to the Sagrada where you can access the Metro to easily get to any other area of Barcelona. Personally we enjoyed staying in a true neighborhood (the Eixample) rather than being in one of the more crowded and touristy areas. Dan is very knowledgeable of the area and in tune with current happenings - he always had great advice for us and provided good guidance on how to get around and great references for food and things to do. If you are looking for a clean and reasonably priced place to stay in Barcelona with a very nice host, this is the place for you!

The room and host were awesome. Dan had wonderful suggestions of places to see and eat. Did I mention his restaurant recommendations were amazing!? The location is very convenient to get around the city and has a wonderful terrace as shown in the pictures. The room is very nice, with a great double bed, desk/chair, and dresser.

Dan's place was great! Amazing view of the Sagrada Familia from the terrace. Dan was also very helpful with insight around the city. The room had a great bed and it's own air conditioner, which was great on hot nights. Great place to stay.
