With most places booked out over the rugby world cup quarter final weekend this ended up being a really lucky find. I did not have to worry about finding my way from the airport. The host was very welcoming and keen that I make myself at home. Getting to the city centre involved a nice downhill walk whick took in one of the main parks or else a 15 minute bus ride from the street outside the house - usually one every 20 minutes from dawn until 11pm. Travelling the other direction will have you on the seafront in no time. A really cozy building with a view of mostly bushland from the windows - complete with walking tracks for those wishing to get a more intimate experience. Hard to believe you can live in such a setting within a stones throw of a capital city centre.
