In a famous 1550s palazzo looking directly on to the canal, our apartment is 60 square meters (615 square feet), with 4 meter high beamed ceilings and has been completely restored including all-new walls, floors, windows, bedroom and living room furniture (apart from an antique dining room table and it's six upholstered chairs) a new kitchen and bathroom. It can accommodate four adults, two in the master bedroom and two in the living room on the queen size sofabed. The apartment is extremely bright and fresh with views on the Rio della Maddalena and the Canal Grande. It is in the Palazzo Barbarigo which is located on the Canal Grande at the Rio della Maddalena. 

The apartment has WiFi, plus telephone, color TV and stereo with CD player. 

I don't know how familiar you are with Venice but that is very central and near the Ponte Rialto. It has its own private entrance at the Ponte del'Olio. You can find all of these places on any map of Venice. It is also near Ponte Rialto and the Casino. The nearest vaporetto (boat-bus) stop is at Ca'D'Oro. 

We rent to NON-SMOKERS ONLY. 

The apartment is not suitable for small children (toddlers to 10 years old). 

The 2012 rate is 1000 Euro per week. Easter, Xmas, New Years and
Carnivale rates are higher. Three day (minimum) weekend rentals are
available as well for 600 Euro. Carnivale rates for 2012 will be 1500 Euro per week.
