We offer a private room in a comfortable stylish apartment furnished in a contemporary style, located in vibrant Islington (also just 10 mins from trendy Dalston and Shoreditch) in Central London, zone 1. Just 15 mins from the Olympic grounds on London overground trains or bus.

The apartment is very bright and cozy with windows in every room, wooden floors, lots of art and all the comforts of a well-stocked home. Your stay includes wi-fi, fresh towels and bed linen. Bathroom is stocked with shampoo and shower gel for guests to use as well.

We provide a light breakfast in the morning, with coffee and tea available any time.

We offer a Habitat sofa bed for one or two people in the lovely, spacious and bright living room, which is a private room with its own door, large windows, video games and DVD player, a desk, and a patio with chair.

The rest of the flat is yours to use as well: kitchen with dining table and all the amenities such as kettle, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine (you are free to do a load of laundry during your stay - although there is no tumble dryer, there is an air dryer you can use as you like) and a bathroom with bathtub/shower, toilet and sink (shared with us, your hosts). You are free to use the kitchen to prepare meals and to store your food/drink items.

Please note, we are on the 3rd floor of an apartment block (no lift).

Well-located in Islington between Dalston, Shoreditch and Highbury, we are less than a minute’s walk to Essex Road, with excellent bus transport links to anywhere in Central London and a 10 minute walk (or 5 minute bus ride) to 3 tube stations: Angel (Northern line), Highbury & Islington (Victoria line) or Dalston Junction (East London line).

I highly recommend bus travel to/from our place, as it is easy, cheap and convenient: direct bus connections to British Museum, Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Selfridges, Oxford Circus, Covent Garden, St Paul's Cathedral, Waterloo (Big Ben, Westminster, London Eye, Southbank). Also very near Shoreditch and Old Street areas for London's best nightlife.

We are located about a 25 minute walk or 15 minute bus ride away from Kings Cross/St Pancras train station (for Eurostar/train services).

Your hosts are a friendly young Canadian couple working in art and design who would be happy to point you in the right direction for entertainment, shopping, nightlife and the best London restaurants. We offer you a selection of London guidebooks to use during your stay and plenty of advice about the city - please feel free to ask!

Check in/check out time is flexible, dependent on guest and host schedule (as we both work during the day), but we will try our best to accommodate your arrival time.

Please ask before booking if you are arriving early in the day or late at night. You're welcome to drop off your luggage if arriving early or store your luggage if you're leaving late. Please just ask!

Although the room is for 1 or 2 guests, we do have an air bed that can be added to the room to accommodate a 3rd person, if needed.
