Nice private room w/ good lighting, a double bed, closet, storage shelves and a small refrigerator in quiet, garden home near Fourth Street. I'm a mile from BART [subway]; a 20 min walk or bus ride; the bus is 2 blocks away; close to 80/880/24 freeways, the Marina & Aquatic Park. A block from Peets coffee, gourmet restaurants: Café Rouge, Bette's, Pasta Shop, Tacubaya, Cafe M & O’Chame. Next door to unique & specialty shops in the Rodeo Drive of Berkeley. UC Berkeley is 2 miles east [20 bus ride or walk] WIFI, internet & cable. Washer/dryer. Clean linens/towels. Share large kitchen, dining room and bathroom with another female and year old black lab & chihuahua. Wood-burning fireplace & white oak flooring in kitchen/family room. Beautiful gardens. Large kitchen has gas stove, dishwasher & gigantic double door refrigerator w/ freezer on bottom. Very light large living room, large dining room, wide hallways & huge entryway. I require a full profile of each guest. No smoking or drugs.

These accommodations were very disappointing and the advertising and/or communications with the hostess quite misleading. The very small room did not have a bed, the hostess placed a wooden board with a foam mattress over worn-out springs of an old sofa bed. I had to leave and find different accommodations after not being able to sleep for several nights. The room was very small, it did not even have an adult chair or dresser. The small refrigerator was not usable due to its noise, and the window did not work either. There was no private place to sit or work - the room consisted of children's toys and an old sofa-bed.
