umKhuhlu Lodge, is a private residence located on the border of Pinetown and Queensburgh, KwaZulu Natal.
It is close to shopping centres and centrally situated so as to visit all the tourist attractions that our province has to offer. With easy access to the freeway it takes approximately 10 to 20 minutes drive to the main tourist attractions and Durban's beach front activities.

umKhuhlu is the indigenous name for the Natal Mahogany tree, a huge one towers over the property and is home to a variety of birds, bats, reptiles and other small creatures. The garden is environmentally friendly and we recycle everything! Our hosts and neighbours are very welcoming, our dogs are friendly and guests feel 'at home.'

The accommodation consists of two private apartments.

Accommodation Upper level: A spacious one bedroom flat with two single beds, ample cupboard space and separate bathroom, sitting room, kitchen area and a balcony where you can relax and enjoy the South African weather.
A divan in the lounge provides extra sleeping space. This apartment can comfortably sleep three adults and an extra bed for junior is available at R150.00 per night.

Ground floor accommodation consists of a cute, self contained unit suitable for a couple.
The bedroom leads onto a small patio with access to the garden. A cosy sitting area, kitchenette and bathroom make up the rest of this flat, with a second exit door from the kitchen to the garden.

The 'Jungle Hut', a recent addition, is a cosy wooden cabin set amongst the foliage. It provides extra sleeping accommodation for two people. From R150.00 per night per person.
