Richard is a great host. Being stung by a wasp he still managed to get the WiFi! Very helpful and friendly. Wish him all the best in his projects and warmly recommend his place to others!

My friend and I stayed with Richard in his apartment and had a really wonderful time. Dalston is amazing and so convenient. We couldn't wish for a better experience in Hackney. Richard was a great host, the apartment is easy to live in and comfortable, not to mention interesting in decor. Five stars, would definitely go back. Mandy :-)

I had a wonderful stay at this remarkable place. Richard is a generous and conscientious host. He creates a nice space for his guests and makes sure their stay is a comfortable one. The neighborhood is diverse, vibrant, and worth exploring. The market just outside feels like another world--not London, not Africa, not Turkey, but a meeting place of all kinds of nationalities and cultures. Very cool. I stayed with Richard for several months while teaching in a Study Abroad program. I brought my students to the area, and they cited it as the most exciting outing of their time in London. I recommend this apartment for anyone who wants to see a unique and thriving side of London, while staying in a lovely, welcoming, and conveniently located flat.

Curve88 was a perfect host--helpful, fun, and welcoming. His loft space is amazing. You could spend a whole day exploring the warehouse conversion. Not only that, but Curve88 is located right next to the Overground so it's easy to explore the whole of London. I'd stay with Curve88 again and do so with a smile.

I had a perfect stay with Richard. He gave me a good welcoming and all the possible freedom in living his place. He aslo gave me the change to host a friend of mine for the weekend. He is a 5 stars host! The apt is really nice, well located (if you wonna know the coolest London) and fully furnished of all you could need. There is nothing new I can add after the others reviews. I only suggest to prefer the north London airports if you can, Stansted or Luton, since they are closer to the flat.

"Curve88 was a lovely guy, accommodating and made me feel very welcome. He has given the flat some added touches to make it easier for the guest to stay like space in the kitchen, you have your own fridge. An area for guests to put their things and a hair drier in the bathroom. The flat is clean and tidy and the bed is very comfortable. The location is good, it's a short bus ride from Liverpool St (for overground trains and central line), 5 minute train journey from Highbury and Islington (Victoria line) and 15 mins train ride to Stratford (DLR and Jubilee Line). It is over the very lively Ridley Road market (apparently Eastenders' Walford Market was based on it!) The flat itself is interesting, it was owned by an artist, so if you want to see what it's like to live in a trendy loft conversion in the East End, this is the place for you!"

"I had an excellent stay at Curve88's place. His place is a bit off the beaten path but not that off. The funky neighborhood will definitely make up for the extra tube stops. You'll have easy access to transportation, cheap food, and a great farmer's market. The place itself is beautiful and expect to stay in the most comfy bed ever, which was a very welcome surprise. Curve88 is also very laid back, but completely gracious as a host."
