Beautiful studio space available in Austin! This is a HUGE 18 x 18 room, pretty well sound-proofed, large enough to handle band rehearsals, yoga, and just generally feeling some SPACE around you. Beautiful state park and swimming hole under 5 miles away, and only 5 miles from downtown with a direct bus line. I have an electric mini-scooter available to rent on daily or hourly basis, for getting around to coffee shops and grocery store.
Amenities include: full PRIVATE bath with shower and towels; kitchenette with hot plate, toaster oven and mini-fridge; futon with bedding; free wi-fi; sprung wood floors;track lighting; mirror; jam box; private entrance; front garden for chillin'..
It's directly on the #7 bus route which can take you almost ANYWHERE in Austin, including 6th street and Warehouse districts. I can assist with scooter/bike rentals, restaurant recommendations, and night life.
Although I am a dog lover, and have a lovely dog myself, the studio CANNOT accommodate animals due to the wood floors which are natural, and easily marred by dog claws.

Wonderful hospitality! We stayed there for a total of 10 days and it was a perfect, cozy little studio. The bus is extremely accessible and takes you right into downtown. Sevylla and her family were very accomodating and it was a great place to stay to see Austin! Highly recommended :)

I was looking for a simple place to stay and this was PERFECT! Sevylla was a very kind host, and made me feel like I was staying with a friend. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend looking for a place for a few nights. Thanks, and hopefully I'll see you again!

My wife and 5 month old daughter stayed at Sevylla's garage studio for 4 days. Sevylla was a gracious host and even prepared a small bed for our daughter before arriving. There was plenty of room and the space was clean. Sevylla was helpful in recommending local attractions and restaurants. The only improvements I could suggest is having a place to hang your clothes or at least drawers. Other than that, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Sevylla was an amazing host and that is the biggest issue when you stay at someone's place. The accommodations were great and the neighborhood was wonderful. A big plus was the wonderful hot tub in the backyard.

"I stayed with Sevylla for one night. She was a wonderful hostess and her studio apartment was very clean and comfortable. Sevylla went out of her way to ensure that I had the best stay possible and made certain that all of my basic needs were met. Her house is close to all of the "hotspots" around Austin and there is even a bus stop adjacent to her house. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at Sevylla's and will be looking to stay there again on my next trip to Austin!"

"My husband and I stayed at Sevylla's place the weekend of ACL and it was a great for our Austin plans that weekend. There's a bus stop literally in front of her house (the 7) that takes you downtown to get on the ACL shuttle close by at 6th street. City transportation from her house to ACL was super easy and $1.50 person (a cab from 6th street to her house was about $15 one night)...that worked out great. The apartment is a roomy garage apartment with a queen size sleeper and an additional futon/mattress that could have slept an additional person if needed; and a full bathroom. Everything was clean and accommodating - Sevylla was a very nice host and had the room set up w/ a small fridge w/ filtered water and other amenities - you could tell she tried to set it up to be very accommodating - we really appreciated that. We had a great weekend and her place was a perfect fit for our ACL plans."

"The studio was clean and everything that Sevylla said would be there was there. She was out of town but the email exchanges I had with her were very helpful and cordial. I make this trip fairly often and will definitely strongly consider staying there again, if it is available."
