Visiting London During the London 2012 Olympics
London is in full swing with the Olympic 2012 Games preparation. Stadiums in the Olympic Park are being built and existing stadiums are getting touch ups to accommodate the thousands of visitors attending the events. London is the central hub for all of the Olympic activity. Of course, the main stadium is the Olympic Stadium located in London’s Olympic Park. This is the venue where over 200 events are taking place. Other venues in the Park such as the Velodrome, Aquatics Centre and Eton Manor will also be bustling with activity during the games.
Many central areas in London will be transformed into sporting spectaculars. Regular tourist destinations like The Mall, will be transformed into a course for the Marathon and Cycling events. The Horse Guard’s Parade will be a beachy paradise fit for the Beach Volleyball matches.
